Hi, I'm Malou,

I'm a nature and art enthusiast who loves to capture the beauty of the world through my lens. With a focus on wildlife photography, I aim to share stunning images that inspire respect and protection for all living beings.

 

Nine years ago, I started shooting with a real camera. I had very little knowledge of how it worked or how to use it and started experimenting by fumbling, observing, and most importantly, practicing. At that time I was starting a distance learning program with the clonlara school in Michigan which offers its students a personalised approach on different subjects of learning. This program has allowed me to dedicate a lot of my time to exploring and developing skills and a deeper understanding of the subjects that I'm interested in like wildlife behaviour and ecology as well as photography and mechanics. Thus, in two years of almost daily use, I was able to learn on my own to master my camera and my software to obtain images that I like.

After 6 years of learning through practice with my first camera, I finally upgraded to a higher quality and performance camera and a bigger tele-photo lens to better capture wildlife and that opened up a whole world of possibilities and new perspectives.

I recently turned 22 and today, my goal is to be able to travel across the wild places of the planet, meet people with various cultures and understanding of the natural world, and encounter wildlife in their natural environment, to promote their protection and share with people the crucial part that every species plays in their ecosystems.
